Common questions
Does Cold Execution make decisions for me?
Not in the sense of managing your capital; the bot executes the rules and parameters you choose and accept yourself.
Where to find cTrader ID?
Open the cTrader app and log in. Click the profile icon in the top right corner. The name you see is your cTrader ID. It is usually your email, but without the domain. You can also find it by logging in through the browser on the cTrader website. Note: cTrader ID is the profile username, not the trading account number.
Do I need to know programming?
No; you install the bot in cTrader, choose an instrument, timeframe and settings, or start from a base configuration.
Does the provider have access to my account?
No; the bot runs on the user's side in cTrader, and the license is tied to the cTrader ID.
Do historical results guarantee profit?
No; backtests and live examples show how a configuration behaved in specific conditions, but future results may differ.
Who is it for?
For traders who have a strategy or want to use the starting configurations, but want to reduce emotional execution mistakes.
Where do I start?
With demo, a backtest and small risk; the goal of the first stage is to understand how the system works, not to maximize the result.
What is Cold Execution?
It is a trading strategy automation system that works with cTrader and MetaTrader. It can open, manage and close trades according to defined rules.
Is this a trading bot?
Most people would call it a trading bot, but we prefer to describe it as a trading automation tool. It follows rules, manages trades based on your settings and helps automate part of the trading process.
Can I use it on a demo account?
Yes. We recommend starting with demo. It lets you understand the system, test configurations and learn how it behaves before using real capital.
Can I use it on a live account?
Yes, but only after you understand the system and accept the risk. You are responsible for your account, settings and trading decisions.
What platform does it use?
The system works with cTrader and MetaTrader.
Do I need my own broker?
Yes. You need your own broker account that supports cTrader or MetaTrader. We may recommend a broker, but the account remains yours.
What is my cTrader ID used for?
Your cTrader ID (or MetaTrader ID) is used to manage access to the software license. It does not give us access to your trading account or funds.
Do I need a VPS?
A VPS is recommended if you want the system to run continuously. Without a VPS, your computer must stay turned on and cTrader/MetaTrader must remain open. At the start it is best to simply watch how it works. Later a VPS is still not required if cTrader/MetaTrader can be installed on the computer you already work on and you trade only during those hours. MetaTrader also has a built-in VPS feature.
What markets does it work on?
The system can be configured for different markets supported by cTrader or MetaTrader. It is built for markets and timeframes where clear trends appear. It is not designed to work well in every market condition.
When does it work best?
It is built around trend-following logic, so it works best when the market shows clear directional movement.
When can it perform badly?
It can perform badly in sideways, chaotic or low-quality market conditions. No filter removes that risk completely.
Do you provide ready-made settings?
Yes, we provide example configurations to help you start. However, we encourage users to test and adjust settings instead of running anything blindly.
How long does setup take?
The basic setup should take less than one hour, including reading the materials and installing the system in cTrader or MetaTrader.
Why a subscription and not a one-time payment?
Because we are not selling a one-time file. The subscription includes access to a developing system, updates, support, a group with market thoughts and extra tools added over time.
Does access include only the system?
No. Besides the system, you get starter configurations, educational materials, support, access to a group with market thoughts and extra tools such as TradingView indicators.
Is the group a signal group?
No. It is not a signal group and it is not investment advice. It is meant to help you understand market context, scenarios and the way of thinking when working with the system.
Are backtest results available?
Yes. We show cTrader backtest screenshots and selected results on the website. Backtests are historical and do not guarantee future performance.
Is this financial advice?
No. This is software and educational material. It is not financial advice, investment advice or a recommendation to trade any specific market.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancellation prevents future renewals. No refunds are provided after digital access or activation, except where required by applicable law.
